- 2 parts your favorite vodka
- 1 part club soda
- 1/2 part hibiscus syrup (see recipe below)
- 1 cucumber slice (per drink)
In a shaker add hibiscus syrup and cucumber then muddle.
Add vodka & shake.
Add club soda, then put over ice.
Delish as a mocktail too!
- Ingredients for Hibiscus Syrup:
2 C h20
1/2 C sugar
1/3 C dried hibiscus flower
1/4 C brown sugar
1 (1/2 piece) of ginger root, thinly sliced
1 lemon, zested.
Bring water, white sugar, hibiscus, brown sugar, ginger, and lemon zest to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer until sugars dissolve and flowers soften, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and steep syrup until flavors combine, about 5 minutes.
Strain syrup into a container through a fine-mesh strainer, pressing solids with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard solids.
